About Me

id="mod_53885392">Most people misuse ChatGPT.
How?
In our prompts, there are no examples provided.
We disregard the fact that roles allow us to regulate ChatGPT's behavior.
Rather than giving ChatGPT some information, we let it make assumptions.
This occurs because we frequently use conventional prompts, which may help us complete the task once but not always.
To achieve greater results, we must develop high-quality prompts.

We must quickly master engineering! Additionally, we'll discover three (3) prompt engineering strategies in this article.

Optimize Standard Prompts with ExamplesThe typical prompts are the ones we've seen before, but they also include illustrations of the work.
Why should you use examples? Well, you need to provide examples of the problem that the prompt is attempting to solve if you want to improve your chances of getting the intended outcome.

A task description, examples, and the prompt all come standard with prompts. In this instance, the prompt is the start of a brand-new example, which the model should finish by creating the text that is missing.
For example:
(Task description) Write an engaging headline for a post about visiting Jamaica for the carnival parade to get people excited to click.
(Example) Here are some examples: I Went to Carnival in Jamaica to Meet Chance The Rapper.

Role PromptingChatGPT's default behavior isn't always sufficient to achieve your goals. This is the time to give ChatGPT a role.
Imagine that you want to prepare for a job interview. You can pretend to be a hiring manager by instructing ChatGPT to "act as hiring manager" and adding further information to the prompt.
As you can see, ChatGPT acts as though he is having a job interview with me.

Simply put, you can use ChatGPT as a movie critic to dissect any film you enjoy or as a language tutor to practice a foreign language like Spanish. I go into greater detail on how to use ChatGPT as your language tutor or language partner in this article.
Simply begin your prompt with "Act as a... " and then include as much information as you can. You can discover instructions to make ChatGPT act like a stand-up comedian, a doctor, and more in this repository if you need some ideas.

Personality and ControlPersonality
Most people do not realize you can ask ChatGPT to speak with a specific tone, style, or reading age. You can use your prompt to suggest how the artificial intelligence tool will deliver your generated content.
These two methods of prodding are effective for coming up with text for emails, blogs, stories, articles, etc.

The first thing I mean by "adding personality to our prompts" is adding a style and descriptions. Including a style in our writing can give it a particular tone, formality, sense of the author, and more.
Prompt example: Write [topic] in the style of a comedian inspired by [name].
We can include descriptors to further tailor the output. A descriptor is just an adjective that you might add to your prompt to make it more specific.

Imagine you want to publish a 500-word blog post about how AI will eventually replace people. With a conventional request like "write a 500-blog post on how AI will replace humans," you'd probably get a rather generic response.
However, the results will alter substantially if you add words like motivating, sardonic, fascinating, and engaging.
Let's add layers to our previous prompt example: Write a humorous 1,000-blog post on why most people do not like vegetables. Write in the style of a comedian inspired by Kevin Hart. Explain using funny examples.

In our illustration, ChatGPT's text is given a unique touch by an AI expert's writing style and words like witty and hilarious. As a result, AI detectors will have a difficult time reading our text (in this article, I describe more ways to trick AI detectors).
Finally, we can edit the blog post using the produced knowledge strategy. This entails gathering knowledge that could be helpful about a subject before coming up with a final response.

Control
You are in control of ChatGPT's output.
With the previous prompt, for instance, we may first generate knowledge and then compose the post.
This format allows you to preview the facts ChatGPT will use in your blog post. If you do not like the listed facts, ask for new ones. Afterward, add a prompt have the AI generate a blog post.
Prompt 1:
Generate 5 facts about "why most people do not like vegetables"

Prompt 2:
Use the above facts to write a humorous 1,000-blog post on why most people do not like vegetables. Write in the style of a comedian inspired by Kevin Hart. Explain using funny examples.
